Bring Solar to Wildlife Associates

george teaching childrenBring solar to Wildlife Associates and help them take care of over 50 non-releasable wild animals and inspire wonder, empathy, and love for wildlife among the hundreds of thousands of children they serve each year.

Wildlife Associates spends over $9,000 per year on their electric bills for their animal care. Together we can help them cut this cost by 90% by installing a free 27.4 kW solar energy system.

Wildlife Associates helping animals

By giving solar energy to Wildlife Associates, we help them pay for the electricity needed to care for their beautiful wild creatures and allow them to direct more funds towards their terrific programs: helping take care of wild animals, teaching children (of all ages) about the importance of protecting the environment, while also addressing climate change!

Located in Half Moon Bay, California, Wildlife Associates provides hands-on science education to children throughout the San Francisco Bay Area with the help of their "wild teachers". Each year these amazing creatures go out and provide over 500 educational programs in local schools.

Helping Wildlife Associates go solar helps them save over $9,000 a year on their electric bill; which means more money for animal-care and educational programs. With these savings Wildlife Associates will be able to reach an additional 5,000 students or care for an additional 3 wild animals annualy

The sanctuary in Half Moon Bay, where the 27kW solar project will be, is home to over 50 non-releasable wild animals that take on the role of wild teachers in Wildlife Associates educational programs. Wildlife Associates cares for these wonderful animals their entire lives. The sanctuary offers unique environments where these magnificent animals play, thrive and provide us all with a meaningful lesson about the importance of protecting the environment.

THANK YOU everyone who is helping us bring solar energy Wildlife Asssociates! This project would not be possible without the significant contributions of over 300 individuals, Enphase EnergyMounting Systems, the Yahoo Employee Foundation, JinkoSolar and All Points North Foundation!
