During times of economic hardship and decreased funding, these organizations face an increased demand for their services. Everybody Solar has a solution to address this added strain. Rather than wasting money on expensive electricity bills, we propose putting that money directly into public service, by helping community-serving organizations switch to cleaner, more affordable and efficient energy sources.
Promoting a sustainable energy economy
The health and economic threats from relying on fossil fuels are clear. Pollution, climate change, rising energy costs, and oil spills endanger our quality of life and our future. By providing solar energy to community-based organizations, we hope to set a new standard for local sustainability.
Educating communities about innovative environmental solutions
We hope to educate all community stakeholders about sustainable energy solutions. We encourage individuals, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and businesses to join in on the conversation and to bring solar to U.S. charities. Together, we can find the answer to a sustainable future.
By funding solar energy projects for organizations who serve the general population, we involve non-traditional audiences in the environmental discussion. This brings attention to the need for ecological sustainability in the community.
Ability to Scale
Everybody Solar is built to be a lean, quickly-adapting organization ready to embrace the many challenges that lay ahead and ready to efficiently scale-up our impact so that we can help many more local community organizations go solar as we grow.
