Solplicity, a leader in the California residential solar space, raised more than $17,000 in December for Everybody Solar, a charity that helps protect the environment by providing solar power to non-profit organizations. Monies raised by Solplicity helped Everybody Solar fund an upcoming solar installation for the Committee on the Shelterless (COTS) offices in Petaluma, Calif.

Throughout December, Solplicity made a donation for every new customer that chose to go solar with the company, raising a total of $17,100. Solplicity partnered with Everybody Solar to help fund a solar system that will reduce operating expenses for COTS, while helping their mission and the environment.

"The holiday season was a little more meaningful for us at Solplicity, knowing that we were working to donate to such a great cause," said Fred Stefany, General Manager and Vice President of Solplicity. "It really got the team in the giving mood. And of course, it's inspiring to know that our gift will have both an environmental and financial impact at COTS for years to come."
