Youness Scally

Executive Director

Youness Scally Executive Director- Everybody Solar CharityYouness is a Co-Founder of Everybody Solar and proudly serves as the organizations first Executive Director. Youness guides Everybody Solar to run efficiently and grow its impact in bringing clean energy to outstanding local non-profits. His passion for clean energy and his concern for current and future generations drives his desire to expand the reach of the solar energy movement to the non-profit realm. He is a CPA with over eight years of professional experience in Financial Management and Accounting.

 

Rachel Brown

Marketing & Communications Director

Rachel Brown Communications Director- Everybody Solar CharityRachel has a strong history in advertising and marketing for non-profits, government institutions, and consumer brands. With expertise in online and digital marketing, Rachel has helped shape Everybody Solar into a modern non-profit with strong ties in web and social media. In addition to her role at Everybody Solar she serves as a Digital Services Project Manager for AdEase, an advertising agency, where she manages websites, SEM/SEO, PR, social media, print production, and media buying for clients in a variety of industries. Rachel earned a B.A. in Mass Communications from UC Berkeley. Through her work at Everybody Solar she hopes to make local communities culturally and artistically vibrant for both their residents and international visitors.

   

Myriam Scally

Development Director

mimi staff pic small2Myriam has worked with minority populations on issues of health, social justice and environmental protection, for the past 12 years. Guided by her Master in Public Health and Tropical Medicine, her projects have ranged from education on pollution in Morocco to reducing the disease burden from tropical diseases in Costa Rica. She has secured funding on both health and environmental grants, including most recently for ‘La Asociación de Acueductos Barrio Abarca La Cruz, Monteverde, Costa Rica’ which provided the funding for planting one hundred trees to protect this waterway. Most recently, she coordinated and implemented a quality of care program as well as developed an HIV/AIDS anti-retro-viral adherence program for a clinic in the Dominican Republic. Myriam is currently earning a Doctorate of Public Health at Boston University, where she hopes to focus on the effects environmental degradation has on vector-borne diseases.

 

Kian Salehizadeh

Business Development Director

Kian Salehizadeh Business Development Director- Everybody Solar CharityIn addition to his role at Everybody Solar, Kian is also the Marketing Associate at Chandler Asset Management, a privately-held investment management firm. His primary experience is in the corporate finance, investment finance, and marketing industries. He previously co-founded and led Raging Productions LLC, a marketing and promotions company. Kian earned a B.S. in Management Science from UCSD and earned an MBA from UCSD's Rady School of Management in 2011.

   

Denise Fan

Community Relations Director

Denise Fan- Everybody Solar CharityDenise brings a commitment to helping low-income and disenfranchised communities become more healthy and sustainable. Her work experiences in labor organizing, immigration law, and nonprofit development show a dedication to promoting social equity. She is convinced that civic engagement provides the foundation for strong communities. As the Community Relations Director for Everybody Solar, she serves as a liaison between government agencies, businesses, and community-based organizations. Denise graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Science, and is interested in the intersection of equity and ecological sustainability.

 

Jennifer Seneor

Non-Profit Projects Manager

Jennifer Seneor Non-Profit Projects Manager- Everybody Solar CharityJennifer has worked for a variety of non-profits and social justice issues for the past nine years including working with the homeless, individuals with disabilities, food distributions and pantries, and providing free legal assistance to disadvantaged communities. She currently works for Feeding America San Diego as the Calfresh Outreach Coordinator, providing direct client services, training, and advocacy for low-income families applying for nutritional assistance. At Feeding America San Diego, Jennifer works with over 190 San Diego based non-profit organizations in order to build their capacity to serve the community. Jennifer graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a B.A. in Sociology and most recently lived in Ecuador serving rural communities through educational projects.
