Robert owns and operates an e-commerce clothing business based out of Encinitas, California. He previously worked as Chief Technology Officer of White Lantern, a photography and virtual tour company, which he also co-founded. He attended UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he studied electrical engineering and business economics.
Brian is a consultant with the Beyster Institute, a non-profit consulting firm specializing in employee ownership. He assists clients with planning, design, and implementation of employee ownership strategies including ESOP transactions and various forms of equity compensation. He works with companies across all different industries to promote employee ownership as a strategy for stimulating business growth and gaining competitive advantage. Brian received his undergraduate degree in business economics from UC Santa Barbara and his MBA from the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego.
Youness is a Co-Founder of Everybody Solar and proudly serves as the organizations first Executive Director. Youness guides Everybody Solar to run efficiently and grow its impact in bringing clean energy to outstanding local non-profits. His passion for clean energy and his concern for current and future generations drives his desire to expand the reach of the solar energy movement to the non-profit realm. He is a CPA with over eight years of professional experience in financial management and accounting. Youness earned a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Liz Oh is a seasoned clean tech marketing and communications professional with 15 years of broad marketing experience. Liz co-founded Solar Marketing Group (www.solarmarketinggroup.com) in 2009 to move renewable energy into the mainstream and has launched marketing campaigns for over 30 companies. Liz enables businesses to market themselves in smarter ways through strategic branding and creative solutions, PR, events and direct outreach to target audiences. She currently serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Environmental Network and is on the Planning Committee for the MIT Energy and Clean Tech Series. Liz has a B.S. from MIT and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Rosana Francescato is Director of Communications at the Clean Coalition, a nonprofit accelerating the transition to renewable energy and a modern grid. She has previous communications experience at clean energy startups MyDomino and Sunible, and since 2012 she's written about solar for sites like CleanTechnica, Triple Pundit, and The Energy Collective. Rosana is passionate about bringing clean power to everyone. She's served on the board of Women and Cleantech and Sustainability and the steering committee of the Local Clean Energy Alliance and has hands-on experience installing solar with GRID Alternatives, where she’s been the top individual fundraiser eight years in a row.
Since 2008 Carter Lavin has helped over two dozen clean energy organizations connect with their audiences. His experience includes launching PR campaigns, inside sales campaigns, organizing and managing conferences, trade show marketing, market research, creating product and corporate presentations, and managing social media campaigns. Carter has worked in nearly every sector of the solar industry including thin-film and crystalline module manufacturers, trade groups, installers, micro and string inverter manufacturers, off-grid hybrid power systems providers, energy monitoring software developers, and racking. He earned a BS from Georgetown University where he studied international energy and environmental security. Carter is a passionate solar advocate, bicyclist, and writer.
